My name is Sarah Stevens and I am excited to offer private music lessons and family music classes at my studio in Chalmette. My approach to lessons is compassionate and challenging at the same time. I believe music should be fun! I am dedicated to tailoring content to meet your needs and interests, and though I have experience teaching children 5 to 12, I welcome learners of all ages. Typically, lessons are once a week for 30 minutes and paid by the month. My group classes are called Music Together. These run in 10 week semesters, though families joining late can be prorated. This program utilizes a high quality curriculum that is accessible to even the youngest of learners and sets children up for excellent musical development, among other benefits. Think community and think fun, while (secretly) providing a workout for the children's brains!
