The Louisiana SPCA’s Carnival returns Saturday, October 24, for its 4th year!
Presented by Hahn Enterprises and HUB International, this paw-ty with a purpose brings together live music, local flavor and family- and dog-friendly fun at the Louisiana SPCA’s New Orleans Campus, all in support of animals in our care and lifesaving programs throughout the community.
Enjoy an unforgettable performance from Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and New Orleans music legend George Porter Jr., with Debbie with a D bringing her signature wit and charisma as this year’s emcee. Carnival-goers can also enjoy mouthwatering local eats, whimsical circus-themed performances and interactive activities for the whole family.
Young animal lovers can step into the shoes of a veterinarian during the MetLife Vet for a Day Experience. Families can also enjoy an inflatable obstacle course, arts & crafts and more, and four-legged guests can explore the dog activity area and join their families throughout the festivities. Cat lovers can escape to the new Cat Theater, a cat-lounge-inspired experience featuring entertaining feline videos, all while interacting with adoptable cats.
Come hungry! Savor local flavors from Southerns, Glizzie’s by Poppa, and more, or stop by the Homebrewer Beer Garden Experience for local beer tastings and the chance to vote for a crowd favorite.
