Looking to inspire a lifelong love of reading in your child?
R.E.A.D. (Reading Enrichment and Development) New Orleans is a wonderful place to begin. READ Nola’s “Mommy and Me” classes are for children 4 months to 5 years old and their grown-up. Register to join us for an engaging hour of books, music, movement and creative play.
READ Nola classes are designed to feel playful, welcoming, and familiar. Children enjoy comforting routines while discovering new songs, stories, and activities that build early literacy skills. Of course, our beloved elephant mascot, Willoughby, joins the fun each time!
Parents and caregivers are part of the experience, too. You’ll learn simple, meaningful ways to support your child’s language development at home while sharing special moments together through books. These early reading experiences help create confidence, connection, and memories that can last a lifetime.
This summer, you may register for each hour-long class individually, rather than by whole session. Our July classes will be held the weeks of July 6th and July 13th. In addition to our regular age groups, we have classes for 1 to 5 year olds to make it easier for siblings to come together! The price per class is $22.
