GIVEAWAY: Win Tickets DRACULA Presented By New Orleans Ballet Theatre

This October 24th, 25th, and 30th, New Orleans’s own professional ballet company, New Orleans Ballet Theatre (NOBT) will revive its much-anticipated favorite, Dracula, choreographed by Oliver Halkowich (former Houston Ballet soloist, NOBT resident choreographer since 2023). After rave reviews for its May 2024 premiere, Dracula will return for its 2nd year at the Orpheum Theater during the Halloween season.

Inspired by Bram Stoker’s novel, this ballet goes into the mind of the protagonist, Jonathan Harker, on his journey to Count Dracula’s castle and his inner reckoning with his own darkness and his love, Mina, who fights to bring him back to the light. NOBT Principal dancer Josh Reynolds will return in the role of Dracula, joined by the 17 full-time artists of the company and 8 trainee artists engaged for the 2025-2026 season.

For 23 years, New Orleans Ballet Theatre has set the standard of excellence in dance in New Orleans, consisting of a season of dance consisting of full-length ballets, contemporary productions, free outdoor performances, and its prestigious Summer Intensive program for pre-professional students. NOBT’s 2025-2026 season boasts 5 mainstage productions, performed by the resident company of uniquely talented artists drawn from the New Orleans area as well as nationally and abroad.
